My name is Cris Canto. For 25 years, my job was to make sure product claims were real.
As an R&D professional at multinational companies in the consumer goods and chemical industries, I wasn’t just developing products — I was making sure that what was written on the label was actually supported by science, and that consumers could genuinely experience the benefits promised.
That means I spent decades reading clinical studies, analyzing formulations, and drawing the line between what the evidence supports and what it doesn’t. That same process is exactly what I apply here.
My chemistry background (MSc, Chemistry) allows me to go beyond the marketing language and read the actual research — understanding whether a study genuinely supports a claim or is simply being used to make a product sound more credible than it is.
From there, I developed my own criteria to evaluate supplements: I analyze the ingredient list, review the scientific literature behind each claim, and assess whether the product truly delivers what it promises. If it does, I’ll recommend it. If it doesn’t, I’ll tell you exactly why.
That’s The Label Truth.
Everything published on The Label Truth is for informational and educational purposes only. My reviews are based on an independent analysis of ingredient lists and available scientific literature, and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. I am not a doctor, nutritionist, or licensed healthcare professional. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any supplement or making changes to your health routine.
